Our Current Projects

Currently, Global Medical Technologies, Inc. is working on two projects with the Horizons Plus company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Both projects include medical space planning and equipment planning, and potentially procurement and logistics.

The most active project at the moment involves the Arab Hospital in Obhur, Jeddah, directly on the corniche with a view overlooking the new Jeddah Tower, which is under construction and is proposed to be the tallest building in the world. It was announced in August 2025 by the City of Jeddah that the project would be completed within 4 to 5 years.

GMT is the providing the senior consultation services for the redesign of the architectural floor plans and the room data sheets to include the required medical equipment infrastructure.

This project is soon to enter the initial procurement of medical equipment phase, which includes selecting the imaging equipment, sterilizers, and providing specifications for the electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

The Arab Hospital project in Southern Obhur, Jeddah, has witnessed important developments these days, in light of the ongoing work to complete the project.

The structural structure of the Arab Hospital project, which is being implemented on the waterfront in Southern Obhur, Jeddah, has been completed.

The hospital will be able to accommodate 120 beds, making it one of the largest healthcare facilities in Jeddah.

The project also includes 7 modern operating rooms equipped with the latest medical technologies, ensuring the provision of distinguished medical services in various specialties.

In addition to the usual specialties in hospitals, the hospital will be equipped with a special maternity department to provide comprehensive care for mothers and children.

GMT is honored and proud be part of this special project, which will be an Iconic structure within Jeddah for many years to come.

Details for the Aseer Project will be published once the final approvals are given by the project owners; however, we can say it is a mega project that we are looking forward to.

Also, within Saudi Arabia, our CEO has completed a number of engineering and consultation projects in many parts of the country, including the MOH licensing and accreditation by CIBAHI of the very successful, Chronic Care Extended Care Facility in Jeddah, Medina National Hospital in Medina, the MOH licensing for As Salama Hospital in Jeddah, and numerous consulting projects for the White Cell Consulting Office in Jeddah.

As the Task Force Chairman of the International Medical Center in Jeddah in 2013 and 2014, our CEO was responsible for overseeing the equipment selection, pre-installation infrastructure requirements, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of their new Toshiba Aquilian CT Scanner, which was the most advanced CT in the Middle East at that time.

In addition to overseeing the selection, pre-installation, installation, and commissioning of the new CT, the new Siemens Lithotripter, and Agfa Cardio PACS system were installed in Jeddah, plus a Philips CT scanner was installed in Petro Rabigh under his supervision.

In Mexico in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s GMT provided turn-key projects to numerous hospitals and clinics throughout the Country.

Medical Equipment Installation Oversight

Installation oversight is a vital service we provide. Our consulting engineers serve as coordinators between contractors and equipment installers to ensure timely completion of all installations. Should any conflicts arise on-site, we take full responsibility for resolving them promptly and efficiently.

Global Medical Technologies provided medical equipment planning, equipment procurement, pre-installation engineering, installation , and oversight of installations for Hospital San Jose in Hermosillo, Sonora.  (JCI accredited)

Medical Equipment Procurement and Logistics

LOGISTICS SUPPORT: In addition to supplying the equipment, Global Medical Technologies manages all customs clearance and shipping documentation to ensure the equipment is delivered to the destination on time.

Global Medical Technologies sold all the equipment to each of the JCI accredited Amerimed Hospitals in Mexico, and also provided site planning, floor plan designs, equipment planning, pre-installation engineering, equipment installation, and project oversight

Medical Equipment Procurement and Logistics

Global Medical Technologies, Inc. is partnering to offer a single source for purchasing a wide range of the world’s best medical equipment directly from manufacturers at discounted prices.

Hospital Galenia purchased all their new medical equipment from Global. This was a turn-key project which included many items from Stryker, ALM/Getinge, and GE/Ohmeda.

Galenia is a level 3 hospital located in Cancun, Mexico. It is the largest hospital in the state of Quintana Roo and it’s the only hospital in the area to hold 3 different certifications for meeting National Standards, JCI International Standards and Canadian Standards, as well as being a member of the Medical Tourism Association
