THE GAS FLOW SENTRY SYSTEM

As a reaction to the recent Pandemic, and to save lives, the team at GMT decided to develop a medical gas flow sentry system, (GFSS) to prevent deaths from occurring in hospital when consumption rates became so high that medical gas systems failed before anyone was aware there was a problem. Deaths from Oxygen system failures were reported all over the world, as government systems were unprepared to take corrective action until it was too late. Many people died and many people lost their jobs because of this occurrence.

These problems were not usually recognized until it was too late because of the pressure sensor level detection systems that were and are the norm in most hospitals.

The Gas Flow Sentry System was not developed to replace standard medical gas alarm systems but was developed as an early warning system to notify facility and nursing staff of an impending problem if immediate action is not taken.

As shown in the screens, the Gas Flow Sentry System gives a complete picture of the status of the gas supply including both the liquid tanks and cylinder manifold banks, plus the status at the farthest point in the facility.

The system uses Artificial Intelligence to monitor subtle changes in gas pressures and consumption rates so that it can provide the staff responsible in the hospital with an alert to take prompt action before a crisis occurs.

Waiting until the pressure may be too low to support critical equipment like ventilators, is too late.

The information on the above screens is from our original design which does not include the faster software or improved graphics for improving access to information. We are passionate about our new design for the Gas Flow Sentry System and are doing everything we can to make it both affordable and accessible for all hospitals.

We are sure every hospital wants to save lives, that is why the Gas Flow Sentry System was developed – to prevent loss of life due to medical gas system failures,

While Medical Gas Piping Installations are a little complicated, having a system that is constantly looking at gas consumption rates within the hospital gives healthcare facility managers some comfort knowing that they will be notified immediately in the event of another pending crisis, before it occurs, not after it’s too late.
